Test Engineer (Clearance Required)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with occasional travel to the DC Metro area for onsite client meetings; preference for candidates in the Washington, DC Metro area. Access from foreign locations and foreign IP addresses is blocked, and personal VPN connections are prohibited.

Salary: $98,614–$167,644 annually based on full-time employment.

What you will do

• Support User Acceptance Testing and validate that system requirements are met before release.
• Execute manual and automated functional, regression, and release validation tests.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing scripts with established frameworks.
• Verify defect fixes and confirm readiness for production deployment.
• Document and track defects in Jira while partnering with developers through resolution.
• Create test plans, test cases, execution results, release sign-offs, and status reports; participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD testing.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 5+ years of experience in QA, UAT, or software testing.
• Hands-on experience with UAT support, test case execution, and regression testing.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and Jira or similar defect tracking tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines in Agile environments.
• Strong test documentation, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
