TL;DR

Sr. Account Manager, Transport & Logistics Technology (IoT tracking/visibility): Drive net-new customer acquisition and account expansion in transportation, logistics, and supply chain markets with an accent on selling solar-powered asset trackers, cellular/sensor-enabled smart labels, and a cloud-based tracking platform. Focus on building pipeline from the ground up, closing enterprise deals, and expanding long-term high-value partnerships through upsell, cross-sell, and solution expansion.

What you will do

  • Identify, prospect, and close new-logo opportunities across transportation, logistics, and supply chain markets.
  • Sell IoT tracking solutions (asset trackers, smart labels, and visibility platforms) to deliver real-time shipment intelligence.
  • Own ongoing growth and expansion of acquired accounts via upsell, cross-sell, and solution expansion.
  • Act as primary business contact for key accounts, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with operations, customer service, and technical teams to represent customer needs internally and deliver value-based solutions.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM records (Salesforce) aligned with sales best practices.

Requirements

  • Location: Office/Hybrid™ based in San Jose, Atlanta, or Dulles, VA, or 100% Home office.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in logistics, transport, IoT, telematics, or supply-chain technology with a proven record of hitting/exceeding targets.
  • Deep knowledge of transportation, warehousing, freight operations, and supply-chain workflows.
  • Experience selling IoT tracking devices such as GPS trackers, smart labels, sensors, or visibility solutions in the transport/logistics IoT sector.
  • Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills to pitch complex solutions and close high-value enterprise deals.
  • Proficiency with CRM and reporting tools (Salesforce, PowerBI) and strong pipeline/forecast management.

Culture & Benefits

  • Pay range: $125,000–$140,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility of $30,000–$40,000 annually.
