IC Design Technical Lead (ASIC)

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing team of IC Design Engineers developing motion control sensor ASICs.
• Oversee technical architecture, design development, people management, and full-lifecycle project execution.
• Own ASIC deliverables from design through tape-out, customer trials, field issues, and product sustainability.
• Collaborate with Optics, Magnetic, Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing engineering teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• PhD, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of technical management experience.
• Deep expertise in ASIC process flows covering analog, digital, and layout design.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools from Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
• Experience with foundry fabrication processes and electrical wafer sort.
• Strong problem-solving, independence, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
