IC Design Technical Lead (ASIC)

What you will do

• Lead a high-performing team of IC Design Engineers developing Motion Control Sensor ASICs end to end.
• Oversee technical architecture, design development, people management, and full-lifecycle project execution.
• Own ASIC deliverables in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
• Manage product ownership beyond tape-out, including customer trials, field issues, and product sustainability.
• Collaborate extensively with Optics, Magnetic, Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing engineering teams.

Requirements

• PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of technical management experience.
• Deep expertise in ASIC process flows covering analog design, digital design, and layout design.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools from vendors such as Cadence, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
• Experience with foundry fabrication processes and Electrical Wafer Sort.
• Independent working style, strong problem-solving abilities, project management expertise, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
