What you will do
- Lead and monitor the warehouse team during shift operations: receiving, binning, issuing, shipping, management, and security of materials.
- Oversee and review Materials Operations specialists’ activities during unattended supervisory shifts.
- Ensure compliant material receiving and documentation; maintain accurate bin balances via transactions and physical inventory checks.
- Manage shelf-life program, tooling/equipment storage and logistics, and quarantine/disposition of unserviceable or questionable parts.
- Coordinate parts distribution including AOG shipments; manage inventory movements for owned and consigned inventory and run cycle counts.
- Handle hazardous materials for domestic and international shipping; develop internal audits and track operational metrics for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in requisitioning, receiving, storing, moving, issuing, and shipping aircraft materials/supplies/equipment, including warehousing functions, policies, and procedures.
- Previous experience leading an airline warehouse operation.
- Knowledge of supervisory leadership techniques and storekeeping/inventory control practices for a wide variety of parts and equipment.
- Forklift experience required.
- General understanding of FAA regulations, including FAR part 121 operations.
- Must be able to pass a ten-year background check and obtain an airport security badge (including SIDA per TSA requirements), and have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
