Material Handler

Material Handler (Logistics/Manufacturing): Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and purchased parts within a production environment with an accent on inventory accuracy and safe materials handling. Focus on optimizing warehouse flow, ensuring precise cycle counts, and maintaining compliance with hazardous waste disposal regulations.

Location: Onsite in Baltimore, MD (cannot be performed remotely)

What you will do

• Receive, identify, store, and deliver raw materials and purchased parts for assembly, machining, or shipment.
• Operate materials handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies to organize storage.
• Perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and maintain detailed records of all items shipped and received.
• Unload incoming trucks, inspect for damage, and verify quantities against freight bills.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal USA requirements.
• Participate in team meetings to resolve cost, quality, or production issues.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, or warehouse operations.
• Location: Must be based in Baltimore, MD.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance and work frequent overtime.
