Inventory Control Supervisor (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage and monitor inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of materials.
• Develop and maintain inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and cost control.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies as needed.
• Analyze and report on inventory metrics (turnover, shrinkage, accuracy) using SAP.
• Partner with Purchasing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Quality departments to support business objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP or WMS platforms; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, and cycle counts.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Battleboro, NC.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or logistics preferred.

Nice to have

• Certification in inventory or supply chain management (CPIM or CSCP).
• Experience with Lean, 6S, Six Sigma, or project management methodologies.
• Experience with systems such as Oracle, AS400, or HighJump.
• Ability to optimize warehouse layout to improve material flow and storage efficiency.
