Location: Must be based in the United States. Remote role with a shift start time of 5:00 AM PST.
Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour.

What you will do
- Review medical criteria and patient documentation to ensure standards are met prior to claim submission.
- Create and submit healthcare claims to insurance companies accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with patients regarding insurance claim status and collect outstanding invoices.
- Field inbound calls and make outbound investigational calls to insurance providers.
- Negotiate structured payment plans with customers.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, HIPAA regulations, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).
- Must be based in the United States.
- 2+ years of experience in medical billing or equivalent.
- Proven experience working in a HIPAA-controlled environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and CRM systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and insurance providers.
Nice to have
- Experience billing durable medical equipment.
- Experience in diabetes or other disease management device/diagnostics.
- Knowledge of CMS billing codes and modifiers.
