What you will do

• Submit accurate medical claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers via electronic or paper methods.
• Analyze and post EOB payments and denials, determining root causes to prevent future rejections.
• Manage follow-ups on unpaid claims to ensure timely processing and payment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and internal teams regarding billing inquiries.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance departmental workflow and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all relevant state and federal regulations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Dallas, TX and able to work onsite 3 days a week.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and/or commercial insurance billing.
• Experience in HME (Home Medical Equipment) billing is highly preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
