What you will do
- Verify claim payment status and perform rebilling to insurance providers.
- Research and resolve outstanding insurance balances for hospital patient accounts.
- Document all research findings and resolution steps in detail within hospital systems.
- Work an average of 30-40 patient accounts per workday.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address project issues and workflow concerns.
- Actively adopt and leverage AI tools to improve daily workflows and efficiency.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of experience in a related field or recent Medical Billing and Coding coursework.
- Proficiency with computer applications, including Excel, email, and database software.
- Ability to maintain HIPAA Privacy and Security standards.
- High-speed internet (min 300 Mbps) and a smartphone for MFA.
