What you will do

  • Manage and mentor a team of software and data engineers working in an AI-first environment.
  • Own the technical vision and architecture for core financial systems, integrations, and automation tools.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between upstream business systems and financial reporting/ledger tools.
  • Drive the development of scalable, accurate financial automation stacks in a SOX-controlled environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in product, design, and leadership to define roadmaps and resolve blockers.
  • Participate in hands-on coding, architecture reviews, and vendor selection processes.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the United States.
  • 5+ years of experience as an engineer with a strong background in writing production code.
  • 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager leading productive, motivated teams.
  • Proven experience processing transactional data at scale within a SOX-controlled environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
