• Drive technical planning and execution from discovery to delivery.
• Partner on AI-backed product features and integrate models into production systems.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to connect technical feasibility to customer outcomes.
• Raise technical standards, including code quality and incident response.
• Foster a culture of ownership, constructive challenge, and continuous growth.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States with significant overlap with Pacific Time Zone.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
• Practical experience shipping AI-powered features or integrating AI services.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Strong bias for action and experience in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments.

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
