Compensation: $190K – $230K + Equity

What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of 3+ engineers, ensuring clarity of purpose and healthy execution.
• Own the technical delivery of backend systems, automation platforms, and agent infrastructure.
• Partner with Product and Ops teams to translate high-value problems into shipped solutions.
• Manage project prioritization and resource allocation with technical rigor.
• Uphold high standards in system design, code quality, and engineering operations.
• Coach and develop engineers to foster a high-performing culture.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software development experience in fast-paced, scaling environments.
• 1+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including mentoring and performance reviews.
• Strong technical expertise in backend development (Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes) and frontend (JavaScript, React).
• Proven ability to deliver reliable, maintainable, and platform-scale systems.
• Must be based in Mountain View, CA for a hybrid work arrangement.
