Salary: $187,000 — $240,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for internal platforms and product experiences.
- Define standards for internal developer-facing platforms, including usability, reliability, and documentation.
- Set technical direction for UI frameworks, CLI tooling, notification platforms, and infrastructure governance.
- Stay hands-on with code to unblock the team and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Drive performance management and career development for a diverse team of engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize impact and align team goals with business needs.
Requirements
- Must be based in or able to work from the New York office (Hybrid).
- Experience managing engineers working on internal platforms, developer tooling, or infrastructure systems.
- Strong technical judgment in distributed systems, APIs, data models, and user-facing workflows.
- Significant experience in backend languages like Go, Python, or Java.
- Proficiency with data stores such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, or ElasticSearch.
- Frontend or product-surface fluency to guide teams building internal UIs and design systems.
