What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of engineers responsible for internal platforms and product experiences.
• Define standards for internal developer-facing platforms, including usability, reliability, and documentation.
• Set technical direction for UI frameworks, CLI tooling, notification platforms, and infrastructure governance.
• Stay hands-on with code to unblock the team and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Drive performance management and career development for a diverse team of engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize impact and align team goals with business needs.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the New York office (Hybrid).
• Experience managing engineers working on internal platforms, developer tooling, or infrastructure systems.
• Strong technical judgment in distributed systems, APIs, data models, and user-facing workflows.
• Significant experience in backend languages like Go, Python, or Java.
• Proficiency with data stores such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis, or ElasticSearch.
• Frontend or product-surface fluency to guide teams building internal UIs and design systems.
