Strategic Account Director (B2B): Own and grow a strategic portfolio of key accounts by expanding enterprise usage of a weather and environmental intelligence platform with an accent on complex solution selling, stakeholder orchestration, and post-sale commercial ownership. Focus on driving multi-threaded sales motions, translating real-time/predictive insights into measurable business outcomes, and leading disciplined account strategy across C-suite and VP-level leaders.
Location: Remote (Canada/US), with travel required to key customers within your territory.

What you will do
- Lead commercial strategy for a portfolio of key accounts, protecting recurring revenue while delivering aggressive net growth and expansion.
- Engage senior technology and business leaders (CIO/CDO/CTO and VPs) to elevate weather and environmental intelligence as a resilience and competitive advantage driver.
- Run complex, multi-threaded enterprise expansion motions that transform localized use cases into cross-functional partnerships.
- Lead consultative solution selling across cloud-native platforms, modern data architecture, risk mitigation, workflow automation, and operational decision support.
- Translate real-time and predictive weather insights into business value (planning, disruption reduction, asset protection, inventory/staffing optimization, faster decision-making).
- Assume full post-sale commercial ownership by partnering with Account Executives during transition/onboarding and capturing expansion opportunities from year one onward.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience with a strong record in strategic account growth, revenue retention, and expansion in complex mid-market or enterprise environments.
- Experience selling SaaS, data platforms, cloud infrastructure, analytics, or technical solutions into complex organizations.
- Strong solution-selling ability across long sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, uncovering technical and business pain points.
- Proven ability to build executive relationships and lead value-based conversations at C-suite and VP level.
- Comfort working closely with Solutions Engineering, Architects, Product leaders, and Customer Success to shape tailored solutions and measurable ROI.
- Eligibility to work in the US or Canada and be located in the US or Canada is required.
