What you will do
- Proactively prospect new business through cold calling, LinkedIn, and industry conferences.
- Manage and grow the sales pipeline using Salesforce.com to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue quotas.
- Present and negotiate software solutions to senior-level executives and C-level buyers.
- Develop strategic sales plans utilizing value-based or challenger-based sales processes.
- Travel up to 70% within the assigned territory to establish and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Product Management, and Engineering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional sales experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience in software (SaaS) sales.
- Proven track record of increasing sales revenue and profitability.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in transportation, telematics, video safety, or supply chain processes.
- 3+ years of experience in remote field sales.
