Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 USD

What you will do

  • Own and manage the end-to-end market surveillance program across regulated entities and proprietary trading desks.
  • Monitor trading activity to detect and mitigate market manipulation, insider trading, and fraudulent conduct.
  • Partner with engineering and external vendors to refine surveillance systems and ensure data quality.
  • Develop and enforce compliance policies in alignment with SEC, FINRA, CFTC, and FCA requirements.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation tools to enhance productivity and decision-making.
  • Analyze surveillance alerts and prepare actionable reports for internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience in compliance surveillance.
  • Background in traditional financial markets, specifically sell-side experience supporting trading desks.
  • Strong understanding of OTC business flows and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot trade data mapping and integration issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to propose pragmatic solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
