What you will do

• Own the product compliance function end-to-end for consumer lending, BNPL, and payment products.
• Serve as the embedded compliance partner for the Product team from ideation through launch and iteration.
• Champion and implement AI-powered RegTech tools for automated regulatory monitoring and product review workflows.
• Conduct regulatory risk assessments for new features and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable acceptance criteria and user story guardrails for engineering teams.
• Establish post-launch monitoring protocols and communicate compliance status to senior leadership and the CCO.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field (J.D. preferred).
• At least 8 years of compliance leadership experience within fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI compliance and RegTech tools to scale operations.
• Strong knowledge of TILA/Reg Z, FCRA, EFTA/Reg E, ECOA/Reg B, UDAAP, and TCPA.
• Proven ability to operate effectively within agile product development environments.

Nice to have

• Compliance certifications such as CCEP or CRCM.
• Familiarity with evolving BNPL regulatory guidance.
