What you will do

• Partner with product and marketing teams to ensure compliance with consumer protection regulations for deposit, payment, and lending products.
• Lead the evaluation and interpretation of compliance requirements for new and existing products.
• Monitor evolving regulatory requirements and drive updates to internal policies and controls.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and monitoring activities to identify and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to conduct compliance risk assessments.
• Manage and develop a team of compliance professionals by setting expectations and supporting growth.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 6+ years of experience in compliance or risk management, with 2+ years of team management.
• Strong understanding of consumer protection regulations (Reg E, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA).
• Proficiency in advertising standards (UDAAP, TILA, ECOA, CAN-SPAM, FTC guidance).
• Experience reviewing marketing, advertising, or customer-facing communications.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex regulatory concepts to non-legal teams.

Nice to have

• Fintech or financial services certifications (e.g., CRCM, CUCE).
