Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 per year

What you will do

  • Serve as a fractional Director of AI Strategy for 5–10 clients, acting as their senior advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Define and execute AI roadmaps aligned with business goals, operational realities, and measurable ROI.
  • Lead and develop a cross-functional pod of AI strategists, engineers, and automation specialists.
  • Manage the financial performance of your pod, including revenue, utilization, margin, and profitability.
  • Oversee end-to-end AI project delivery from discovery and design through implementation and adoption.
  • Drive expansion opportunities within existing accounts by identifying new use cases and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in client-facing or agency environments managing multiple relationships.
  • Proven track record of leading AI or digital transformation initiatives with measurable business results.
  • Strong people leadership experience in building and coaching high-performing technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of AI, ML, LLMs, and automation with the ability to translate technical concepts for C-suite executives.
  • Experience with P&L accountability, managing utilization, margin, and revenue growth.
  • Exceptional executive presence and communication skills for high-stakes client meetings.

Nice to have

  • Experience operating as a fractional or embedded strategic leader inside a client organization.
  • Domain experience in financial services, real estate, private equity, lending, or B2B SaaS.
  • Track record of growing accounts beyond initial retention.
