What you will do

• Develop, write, and maintain Cerner queries and scripts to extract high-quality data.
• Serve as a primary contributor for Cerner development, focusing on vendor and revenue cycle data.
• Work extensively with clinical, hospital billing, and professional billing datasets.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Translate business and operational requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and availability for key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States and willing to travel for business needs.
• 4+ years of experience with Cerner development.
• 6+ years of overall Data Engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience extracting data directly from Cerner.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle processes within a healthcare environment.
• Openness to innovation and AI to improve processes and patient experiences.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Cerner Command Language (CCL).
• Strong Microsoft SQL experience.
• Experience with Databricks, Azure, and Python.
• Prior experience supporting downstream analytics or operational workflows.
