Frontend Developer (TypeScript)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama; hybrid workplace. Secret clearance required.

Salary: $115,000–$160,000 per year

What you will do

• Design and build dashboards for real-time operational decision-making.
• Own user experience across control-tower workflows, focusing on clarity, usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Develop interactive visualizations that turn complex supply chain and risk data into actionable insights.
• Build frontend applications and reusable components with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate APIs, backend services, and data platforms while collaborating with product, design, backend, data, and platform engineers.
• Prototype and refine features with forward-deployed engineers and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• Secret clearance and a high school diploma or GED.
• 3–8 years of experience in frontend, full-stack, data application development, dashboard design, or related roles.
• Experience building dashboards, operational interfaces, or interactive data visualizations.
• Strong experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, plus experience with Python and PySpark.
• Experience integrating frontend systems with APIs, backend services, and data platforms.
• Government-facing experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Experience with D3, Chart.js, or similar data visualization libraries.
• Experience with data-processing pipelines, analytics platforms, SaaS products, or data-driven applications.
• Experience supporting federal government or national security programs.
