Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA, or remote for candidates based near engineering hubs in Philadelphia, Boulder/Denver, Santa Cruz, or Seattle. Final-round interviews are conducted in person.

Base salary: $160K–$250K, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own frontend features end to end, including technical decisions, implementation, and delivery.
• Build APIs, SDKs, and frontend surfaces that allow companies to embed hirify.global in their own products.
• Partner with customers and product teams to scope integration requirements and represent Embed customer needs.
• Ship iteratively, refining product experiences based on customer feedback.
• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to increase development velocity.
• Collaborate across the engineering stack with minimal day-to-day oversight.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years at a senior level.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, plus HTML and CSS.
• Production experience delivering projects independently to customers.
• Experience with data or business intelligence tools such as SQL, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Amplitude, or Google Analytics.
• Experience building and maintaining APIs or SDKs for external customers.
• Proficiency with AI coding tools and workflows.

• Startup experience.
• Working confidence in Java or Python.
• Experience building cloud-based SaaS applications.
