What you will do

• Define the technical strategy and architectural vision for the hirify.global Elements platform, ensuring scalability and security.
• Architect complex distributed systems aligned with long-term product and business goals.
• Lead and coach multiple engineering teams, including managers, staff engineers, and senior ICs.
• Guide the application of asymmetric cryptography, zero-knowledge proofs, and decentralized technologies.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to define and execute the technology roadmap.
• Establish and evolve engineering best practices, delivery processes, and quality standards.

Requirements

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior leadership managing multiple teams.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering organizations in high-growth environments.
• Strong expertise in cryptography (asymmetric/elliptic curve), blockchain, and decentralized identity (SSI).
• Experience in cloud-native environments (AWS serverless preferred), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Dart, or Rust.
• Must be based in Berlin, Germany for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, C++, GoLang, or React.
