Salary: €90,000 - €120,000 per year + 45% base salary in equity

What you will do

• Lead and develop the engineering team through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, and career development planning.
• Improve delivery and operational excellence, identifying opportunities for purposeful AI adoption to accelerate problem-solving.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute to architectural discussions to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and UX Research to eliminate silos and align engineering with product goals.
• Drive engineering hiring by assessing technical talent and raising the bar for new hires.

Requirements

• Prior engineering management experience within a startup environment (Seed, Series A, or B).
• Strong engineering foundation as a former Senior IC with the ability to review code and assess technical quality.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and helping reports grow into broader roles.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Berlin.
