What you will do

• Review and redline commercial contracts (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs) and resolve counterparty queries.
• Independently negotiate legal terms across a broad range of standard commercial agreements.
• Manage contractual information within internal IT systems and enforce knowledge management processes.
• Provide peer reviews of departmental redlines to ensure a quality-driven process.
• Assess documentation for strategic sales, partnerships, or acquisitions.
• Collaborate on improving cross-team training, playbooks, and contract templates.

Requirements

• Law degree with 2+ years experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years experience in contracts/legal.
• Significant experience in sales and procurement environments from pre-sales to closeout.
• Ability to critically assess transactions and identify business issues.
• Proficiency with enterprise software tools (Jira, HubSpot, Google Sheets, etc.).
• Must be based in Canada.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud, data security, privacy, and intellectual property matters.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud computing, and third-party software resale.
• Familiarity with Atlassian products.
