What you will do

• Own the end-to-end UX design for the MHEV operator app and Sage AI-driven insights dashboard.
• Design interfaces specifically for warehouse associates working in noisy, high-pressure environments.
• Conduct on-site user research at customer warehouses to observe real-world product usage.
• Collaborate directly with engineering and product teams in Figma to deliver high-fidelity prototypes.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude to accelerate the transition from concept to functional prototype.
• Define the design vision as the first dedicated UX hire within the organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA and willing to travel roughly 20% of the time.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX work for products with real users in complex workflows.
• Deep proficiency in Figma or comparable collaborative design and prototyping tools.
• Proven experience designing through direct user research and field observation.
• Ability to work autonomously in an unstructured, fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience using AI tools to produce functioning prototypes.

Nice to have

• 5 to 10 years of UX experience.
• Background in warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, or industrial environments.
• Experience designing 0-to-1 products at a startup.
• Software development background.
