TL;DR

What you will do

• Collaborate with software developers and systems engineers in an agile environment using participatory design and creative brainstorming.
• Map user paths, create storyboards, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to support multi-platform applications.
• Implement and support modern JavaScript code using frameworks like VueJS, Angular, or React.
• Ensure products meet Section 508 Accessibility standards and work across various browsers and platforms.
• Evaluate designs through UI reviews and cognitive walk-throughs to improve usability.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to define user requirements and present design mockups.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, UX strategy, and usability research.
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or VueJS) and CSS frameworks (Bootstrap).
• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Axure, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of the full website development lifecycle from discovery to user testing.
• Current holder of a DHS Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
