What you will do

• Lead the design release of refrigerant plumbing and hardware components through GPDS/ECM/ECR processes.
• Ensure all parts meet functional, packaging, manufacturing, quality, and service requirements.
• Reconcile and maintain error-free part data within MPL systems for all assigned components.
• Drive engineering changes and technical updates to support build events and production timelines.
• Present technical solutions and align decisions with cross-functional stakeholders including VSE, purchasing, and manufacturing.
• Track and resolve technical and validation issues with urgency and ownership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in the development and release of automotive components.
• Strong technical knowledge of thermal/HVAC systems, specifically refrigerant lines and hardware.
• Proficiency in change management processes including ECR/ECM and GPDS.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Must have valid work authorization for Mexico; sponsorship is not provided.
