What you will do

• Lead and coordinate complex engineering projects with clients.
• Develop parametric 3D data and concept sections autonomously according to construction standards.
• Propose complex engineering solutions for plastic and metal components.
• Create 2D drawings applying GD&T, manufacturing processes, and injection molding knowledge.
• Train and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work for quality.
• Communicate project status, proposals, and risk assessments directly to clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechatronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of product design experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven knowledge in interior and exterior trim.
• Experience in the development phase from concept until tooling kick-off.
• Advanced knowledge in Benchmarking, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, and GD&T.
• Fluent English proficiency.

Nice to have

• German language skills (A2 level).
• Previous international work experience.
