Controls & Test Engineer (LabVIEW)

What you will do

• Develop and deliver electrical controls, automation, and test systems for manual and highly automated assembly equipment.
• Develop, integrate, debug, and maintain LabVIEW applications for automated testing, data acquisition, measurement, equipment control, process monitoring, and traceability.
• Integrate software and electrical control systems with PLCs, sensors, actuators, instrumentation, databases, HMIs, and industrial communication interfaces.
• Define controls, automation, testing, and error-proofing solutions based on process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Coordinate equipment suppliers during controls development, integration, commissioning, validation, and project start-up.
• Provide daily production support and improve automation reliability through software modifications, equipment upgrades, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Advanced LabVIEW programming and application development are mandatory.
• 3–5 years of experience in controls, automation, electrical systems, or automated test equipment.
• Experience with electrical control systems, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, data acquisition, automated test systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with equipment integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, automation, and industrial control concepts, including electrical schematics.
• Spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• PLC programming and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with equipment suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN, SQL and database integration, SolidWorks, Minitab, Microsoft Office 365, and engineering AI tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
