What you will do
- Track and audit the lifecycle of hardware, software licenses, and cloud assets.
- Support budget formulation by providing accurate utilization metrics and inventory reports.
- Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with contracting teams to manage software renewals and vendor agreements.
- Analyze asset data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization targets.
- Ensure all tracking baselines comply with federal IT policies and security standards.
Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance required
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience managing IT asset lifecycles in a federal or enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with enterprise ITAM tools and relational databases.
- Experience tracking tasks in systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, virtualization licensing, and hardware baselines.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting USCG, Software Yard, or DHS programs.
- Relevant certifications such as CITAM, CSAM, or ITIL Foundation.
- Knowledge of FinOps and cloud asset management in AWS or Azure.
- Experience auditing baselines against DISA STIGs.
