What you will do

• Track and audit the lifecycle of hardware, software licenses, and cloud assets.
• Support budget formulation by providing accurate utilization metrics and inventory reports.
• Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data integrity.
• Coordinate with contracting teams to manage software renewals and vendor agreements.
• Analyze asset data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimization targets.
• Ensure all tracking baselines comply with federal IT policies and security standards.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance required
• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing IT asset lifecycles in a federal or enterprise environment.
• Proficiency with enterprise ITAM tools and relational databases.
• Experience tracking tasks in systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud platforms, virtualization licensing, and hardware baselines.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting USCG, Software Yard, or DHS programs.
• Relevant certifications such as CITAM, CSAM, or ITIL Foundation.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud asset management in AWS or Azure.
• Experience auditing baselines against DISA STIGs.
