Senior Software Licensing Specialist

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in AL, AZ, DC, FL, GA, ID, MD, MS, NJ, NC, OK, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WV

Salary: $102,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Evaluate software license availability and disposition for customer requirements.
• Research procurement records, vendor invoices, licensing terms, product documentation, and EULAs.
• Manage complex software requests, including intake, review, routing, quoting, procurement, and fulfillment workflows.
• Maintain accurate, traceable, and audit-ready entitlement records in designated software asset management repositories.
• Reconcile entitlements against inventory and usage data, identify discrepancies, and coordinate compliance resolution.
• Provide guidance to licensing specialists and coordinate with customers, procurement, support, governance, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, information technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in software licensing support, IT service operations, and/or IT asset support.
• Advanced experience with structured intake, data entry, ticket workflows, customer communications, software request fulfillment, vendor quoting, and procurement documentation.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, customer-service, leadership, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise software asset management in a large Federal or similarly complex enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM/SAM, Belarc, iView/ITAR, and SLIF documentation practices.
• Experience with software compliance analysis, licensing audits, or enterprise software governance.
