What you will do

• Lead and optimize the lifecycle management of software licenses, hardware components, and cloud-based resources.
• Drive budget formulation and long-term resource planning using predictive cost models and procurement forecasting.
• Architect and govern the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ITAM toolsets to ensure data integrity.
• Provide strategic contracting support by analyzing enterprise license agreements (ELAs) and managing vendor relationships.
• Execute advanced utilization audits to identify cost-saving targets and redundant software platforms.
• Ensure strict alignment of asset tracking with federal IT asset management policies and USCG security mandates.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 6-9 years of senior-level IT asset management (ITAM) experience in federal or enterprise environments.
• Proven experience managing enterprise licensing models (e.g., VMware, Microsoft EA, Oracle, SaaS).
• Comprehensive understanding of federal procurement frameworks, ITSM, and strategic resource planning.
• Proficiency with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting U.S. Coast Guard, Software Yard, or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs.
• Certifications such as CITAM, CSAM, CHAMP, or ITIL Intermediate/Expert.
• Understanding of Cloud Financial Operations (FinOps) within AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with asset verification audits for DISA STIG compliance or software assurance baselines.
