Engineering Manager (Web3)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team to develop secure, performant features for the hirify.global Elements product.
• Translate complex technical problems into actionable tasks and guide the team in solving large-scale architectural challenges.
• Collaborate with Product Management and design teams to maintain high quality standards and deliver complex features.
• Advocate for and implement best practices in clean architecture, CI/CD, and testing.
• Foster a diverse, transparent, and collaborative team culture that encourages experimentation and high performance.
• Balance hands-on technical contribution with strategic leadership and delegation.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced, global environments.
• Strong experience delivering production-quality products using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Solid background in cloud-native environments, specifically AWS serverless, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in architectural documentation and design patterns like C4 Model and ADRs.
• Commitment to privacy-by-design, security, and high-performance system standards.
• Must be based in Berlin, Germany for hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Rust, Dart, or Go.
• Experience building developer tools such as CLIs, SDKs, and developer portals.
