Location: Must be based in the Bay Area (Berkeley, California). Hybrid or in-office schedules are preferred.

Salary: $130,000–$175,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Research and build candidate lists for AI research, engineering, and operations roles.
• Organize and host in-person networking events such as dinners, workshops, and game nights.
• Execute personalized outreach via LinkedIn, email, and other channels to engage prospective candidates.
• Cultivate referral networks within AI and research communities, including conferences and workshops.
• Design and manage the sourcing pipeline in Lever, iterating on workflows and touchpoints.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to translate role needs into concrete candidate profiles.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging candidates from graduates to senior researchers.
• Proficiency in sourcing via LinkedIn, GitHub, and unconventional channels.
• High organizational skills to maintain a clean hiring pipeline and reliable follow-ups.
• Ability to identify talent in the AI field and align with Epoch's mission.
• Professional level English proficiency.
• Must be based in the Bay Area.

• Direct recruiting or sourcing experience.
• Prior experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
