What you will do

• Own the technical strategy and execution for the AI Frontend team, driving projects from conception to deployment.
• Provide deep technical oversight through design reviews and the implementation of complex frontend systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate business objectives into technical roadmaps.
• Mentor and coach engineers on technical challenges and career development while proactively growing the team.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and maintainability of the frontend platform across the AI application lifecycle.
• Champion the integration of AI coding assistants into the team's development workflow to scale AI-native practices.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, user-facing production systems.
• 3+ years of experience managing and leading teams delivering high-concurrency, low-latency user interfaces.
• Deep hands-on proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and the React ecosystem.
• Proficiency in at least one additional language such as Python, Go, or Java.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system design.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in the United States (Menlo Park, CA).

Nice to have

• Experience building or shipping LLM-powered applications.
• Active use of AI coding assistants in daily professional workflow.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Prior experience with data analytics, BI, or conversational AI products for enterprise customers.
• Familiarity with backend services and APIs powering AI/ML inference at scale.
