What you will do

• Coach, motivate, and professionally develop direct reports and engineering teams.
• Set clear team objectives and measurements aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead the hiring process and contribute to department staffing and budget planning.
• Implement lean solutions to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Cyber Security Group to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Mentor engineers on best practices and lead system architecture design concepts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in IT team leadership with a proven track record of success.
• 2+ years of experience in a management role.
• Proficiency in Python and Java.
• Experience with AWS deployments and auto-scaling design.
• Experience deploying AI models in Bedrock framework and developing MCP/API custom connectors.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States as this role is US-based.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI coding assistants like Claude or Cursor.
• Strong background in product management requirements translation.
