Commissioning Lead Engineer (Electrical, LV)

Location: Al Bihouth, Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Onsite commissioning role.

What you will do

• Lead commissioning of the complete low-voltage package in line with project requirements, contracts, schedules, budgets, and technical standards.
• Ensure HSEQ compliance, apply RAMS and site standards, and promote safety and risk mitigation throughout commissioning.
• Coordinate commissioning activities with internal teams, subcontractors, OEMs, external authorities, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, prepare progress reports, and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering and proven experience commissioning power or Energy-from-Waste plants.
• Experience delivering the complete low-voltage package on a large-scale Energy-from-Waste project.
• Proven HSEQ leadership and knowledge of relevant legal requirements.
• Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC) or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Lock Out / Tag Out and Permit to Work systems in industrial commissioning environments.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are advantageous.
