What you will do

• Perform in-depth data profiling on source and target systems throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Define and execute data quality rules to meet business and regulatory standards.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and uniqueness across large datasets.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries and database logic for validation purposes.
• Provide actionable feedback to data engineers to resolve migration issues.
• Communicate data quality findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more.
• Essential: Valid SC and NPPV3 security clearance.
• Proven experience in QA testing for large-scale data migrations, ideally in the public sector.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of ETL workflows, data transformations, and BI dashboard testing.
• Experience with data quality tools such as Great Expectations, Microsoft Purview, or YData-Profiling.
