Salary: $60,000 - $80,000

What you will do

• Establish North America Procurement solution delivery for TL, LTL, Intermodal, Parcel, and Air freight.
• Develop vendor KPIs and processes to capture key data points including on-time service and tender acceptance.
• Manage operational escalations and develop strategies for performance improvement and service remediation.
• Perform market rate analysis and conduct quarterly QBRs and impact benchmarking studies.
• Hire and train the Modal Performance team across North America, including Mexico and Canada.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Technology departments to assist on customer reporting and performance metrics.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of combined experience in carrier Procurement and Logistics/Operations.
• Solid understanding of transportation carrier contracts, all modes, transit time, and networks.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Chicago, IL (3 days onsite).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of Tableau.
• Familiarity with TMS platforms (e.g., Mercury Gate, Oracle TM) and tools like DAT-TransCore, Salesforce, or Jaeggar.
