American commercial electric vehicle company developing a first-of-its-kind EV platform for medium-duty vehicles and hybrids.

What you will do

• Partner with material planners and buyers to create and update transportation plans for carriers.
• Manage a panel of carriers across ocean, air, ground, and parcel shipping.
• Ensure supplier documentation is complete and compliant for customs brokers and carriers.
• Book and track shipments from pickup to delivery and manage claims for lost or damaged cargo.
• Optimize freight spend and manage carrier performance using KPIs like OTIF and detention fees.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs for regular transport lanes and oversee outbound shipments including RMAs and finished chassis.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, including minimum 1 year of international logistics experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, specifically pivot tables and lookup formulas.
• Mandatory knowledge of Incoterms and basic understanding of US CBP import processes.

Nice to have

• Hazmat experience or certification.
• Experience with vehicle shipping or prior carrier work experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle Netsuite or a TMS.
• Knowledge of Spanish or Chinese Mandarin.
