What you will do

• Lead the engagement and representation of the Data Technology and Engineering (DTE) team at San Diego and Seattle sites.
• Oversee technical evaluations and approval of hardware and software for scientific laboratory needs.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of laboratory software, hardware, and network devices.
• Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure a robust environment while providing local insight.
• Drive process automation and monitor emerging technologies like AI-driven analytics and IoT.
• Manage vendor relationships and mentor a team of professionals to foster a culture of innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with business systems in the Life Sciences industry.
• Deep expertise in endpoint device management following IT Service Management and ITIL principles (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Strong background in laboratory technology, specifically for clinical or research labs.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards for laboratory technology qualification and validation.
• Must be based in or able to work at the San Diego or Seattle locations.
