What you will do

• Build and scale a high-performing team of data, analytics, and platform engineers.
• Own end-to-end engineering operations, including sprint delivery, capacity planning, and technical quality.
• Drive technical excellence through architecture decisions, code quality, and DevOps/GitOps practices.
• Partner with the SVP on strategic planning, hiring, team development, and vendor management.
• Act as the primary technical interface between the Data Hub and other business units such as Insights Hub and Product Solutions.
• Ensure production systems meet SLAs by establishing monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• 5-8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or platform engineering roles.
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with a modern data stack, specifically cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred).
• Proven track record of delivering complex data initiatives like migrations or greenfield builds.
• Experience working within regulated or compliance-sensitive environments.
