TL;DR

Sales and Proposal Manager (Space): Leading the end-to-end proposal lifecycle for high-performance space solutions with an accent on cross-functional team coordination, compliance, and strategic customer capture. Focus on managing complex RFPs, optimizing proposal processes, and driving growth through effective CRM utilization and stakeholder alignment.

Location: Onsite in East Aurora, NY or Niagara Falls, NY. Must be able to obtain a US DOD security clearance and access US export-controlled information (ITAR).

Salary: $130,000–$175,000 Annually

What you will do

  • Lead the full proposal lifecycle from intake and kickoff through submission and debriefs.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including business development, engineering, legal, and finance.
  • Ensure proposal compliance with RFP requirements and internal legal/contract standards.
  • Maintain and curate a proposal content library, templates, and boilerplate language.
  • Track proposal metrics, budget, and CRM data to drive process improvements.
  • Develop strategic plans and tactical decisions in collaboration with the Growth and Strategy team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales, Proposal management, Engineering, or Program management.
  • Strong experience with CRM tools for tracking opportunities and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to manage through influence in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a US person capable of accessing ITAR-controlled information.
  • Must be able to obtain a US DOD security clearance.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the space industry.
  • Experience with electronics or avionics systems.
