TL;DR

Public Sector Territory Account Manager (SLED): Driving sales growth within State, Local Government, Education, and nonprofit accounts in the West Region with an accent on high-touch engagement and complex sales cycles. Focus on prospecting new logos, managing end-to-end sales pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver unified communication solutions.

Location: Must be based in Texas or Colorado (or other locations West of the Mississippi with easy access to a major airport hub).

Compensation: $90,000–$150,000 OTE (base + variable bonus).

What you will do

  • Drive sales growth by prospecting and developing new accounts within the public sector vertical.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead qualification, client presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting using Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales Engineering, Alliances, and Marketing teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, government summits, and networking events to enhance market presence.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the public sector with an assigned sales quota.
  • Must be based in Texas, Colorado, or a location West of the Mississippi with airport access.
  • Experience selling Unified Communications (UC) and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
  • Ability to travel for internal meetings, conferences, and on-site customer visits.

Nice to have

  • Previous success in growing video collaboration adoption in public accounts.
  • Experience managing complex or long-term sales cycles.
  • Proficiency in social media tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
