What you will do

• Lead the development and maintenance of actuarial reporting systems and controls to support financial reporting and monitoring of reinsurance business.
• Oversee the delivery of reporting and analysis across IFRS, Solvency UK, Economic Balance Sheet, and CISSA.
• Provide strategic recommendations on assumptions, capital, and profitability to senior management and Boards.
• Assess operational, financial, and reporting implications of proposals and new business activity.
• Maintain financial management, business planning, and forecasting capabilities for L&G Re.
• Manage and develop actuarial reporting colleagues, including overseas team members, to foster a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Fully qualified life actuary.
• Seven years of annuities reporting experience.
• Strong technical expertise in actuarial reporting under IFRS and Solvency frameworks (UK, EU, or Bermuda).
• Experience designing and embedding efficient actuarial processes with appropriate controls and governance.
• Ability to communicate complex financial information and practical recommendations to senior stakeholders and Boards.
• Experience managing and developing people and building inclusive teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Bermuda EBS.
• Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve analysis and process efficiency.
