What you will do

• Conduct independent validation of models used across the organization, including capital, pricing, and valuation models.
• Summarize validation results and present findings to senior committees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with model owners to agree on actions and mitigate identified risks.
• Support the reporting of the quarterly model change log to the PRA.
• Maintain and enhance controls to support the overall control environment and improve customer outcomes.
• Work with colleagues to build out coverage of model development risks and support risk framework developments.

Requirements

• Experience in actuarial and statistical modelling.
• Strong knowledge of model risk, governance, and internal model design.
• Understanding of UK financial services regulatory environment and Prudential regulations.
• Ability to provide constructive challenge and oversight of technical matters.
• Professional qualification such as CFA or Qualified Actuary is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.

• Experience in Python, PowerBI, or R.
• Experience in risk guidance and compliance environments.
• Proven ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in project management.
