TL;DR
Senior Group Financial Reporting Accountant (SaaS): Lead end-to-end preparation of consolidated financial reports and statutory accounts under IFRS with an accent on multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional consolidation and audit readiness. Focus on providing technical accounting advice to leadership, supporting M&A purchase price allocation, and driving process improvements in a PE-backed environment.
Location: Stone, Staffordshire, United Kingdom (Hybrid working, 2 days a week in Stone office)

What you will do
- Lead preparation of Group consolidated financial statements and year-end audit schedules.
- Prepare statutory accounts for group companies under IFRS and manage international filing obligations.
- Liaise with auditors, participate in liquidity planning, forecasting, and covenant reporting.
- Provide technical accounting guidance, translate complex concepts for stakeholders, and optimise financial results.
- Support M&A accounting including purchase price allocation and fair value assessments.
- Champion quality management, enhance reporting processes, and strengthen controls.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in consolidating multi-currency, multi-jurisdictional groups.
- Deep IFRS proficiency and experience with SaaS/subscription models highly preferred.
- Advanced Excel, strong IT literacy, and familiarity with Quality Management Systems.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Must work hybrid in Stone, Staffordshire office 2 days per week.
