What you will do

• Handle journal entries, supplier invoice posting, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage payroll, freelance accounting, and withholding tax (IRPF).
• Process payments for suppliers and employees and prepare weekly cash reports.
• Oversee invoicing for Barcelona and Madrid, including debt collection and Aged Debtors reports.
• Prepare monthly P&L, statutory packs, and quarterly VAT/payroll returns.
• Maintain statutory accounting books and coordinate annual audits for the Spanish Commercial Registry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance.
• Must be based in Spain.
• Fluent written and spoken English (C1) for international reporting and stakeholder communication.
• Hands-on experience with SAGE accounting software.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish tax obligations including VAT (Form 303), payroll (Form 111), and rental (Form 115) withholding.
• Experience producing P&L, Stat Packs, and cash reports in a multinational context.
