What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end monthly close process, ensuring fast, accurate, and well-coordinated financial reporting.
• Act as the primary authority for technical accounting, supporting new business models, contracts, and complex treatments.
• Develop and maintain technical accounting documentation for revenue recognition, capitalization, and leases.
• Manage and coordinate external partners, including accountants, tax advisors, and auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls by identifying risks and implementing scalable, well-documented workflows.
• Integrate AI tools to enhance variance explanations, audit preparation, and accounting research.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on experience in Accounting, Controlling, or Financial Reporting in fast-scaling environments.
• In-depth knowledge of German HGB; IFRS exposure is a plus.
• Proven ownership of the full monthly close cycle and high-quality reporting.
• Advanced DATEV skills and confidence working with financial data systems.
• Must be based in Germany, Spain, Portugal, or the UK.
• Strong stakeholder management skills for collaborating with external financial partners.
